Sharing a little bit of high lights on the sermon: Pastor Rush words: In the midst of all your defeats, its time to Thank God for your Victories. Say I’m still here!
You weren’t born mean. The way you are now is accumulation of everything that has been piled up on you. (every instance in your life) for ex: people you meet, your job, your family. Make some path for friendliness. Scripture Psalms 23 we’ve recited since elementary copied for reference: 1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. Rev. 7.17
3 He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Point being: What is your Spiritual Valley (obstacle) whatever it is Praise your way out of it grab your shovel and praise.
If you can scoop and cast it don’t carry it with you. Keep moving! and Keep it moving!
Lastly: As Christians you and I are a letter written by God and read by many people.
This was a blessing to hear and see, hopefully you receive this and may it bless you also.
Remember David was a shepherd, but anointed to be a King Faced many challenges and defeated a Giant.
